About this course
This microcredential is designed to cover developments in IT as they apply to organisations and their systems. Throughout this microcredential, you will learn about developments in IT and their impact on the software and systems that organisations are making use of, from accounting information systems to workforce planning, and business process automation. You will develop an understanding of the development and principles of data governance and protection.
You will explore the principles of ICT asset procurement, deployment, management, and disposal. Finally, you will develop an understanding of fundamental computer network design principles, the hardware and communications links that support them, and the variety of network types that are crucial to organisations’ operations. By the end of this microcredential, you will have an understanding of organisational IT systems, organisational ICT asset management, and the principles of computer networks.
